Forgiveness Reduces Stress

It can be really difficult to accept some things in life, and forgiving someone who has committed unacceptable behavior can be difficult when we are having trouble letting go of anger about the events and accepting what happened to us.
Forgiving is not about forgetting, it is about not bringing the offense up to you in negative ways. Forgiving is simply letting go of what you’re holding against yourself so that you can move on with yourself. Forgiveness is a choice that takes courage and strength, and it gives us the opportunity to become an overcomer rather than remaining a victim of our own contempt. Failing to forgive yourself will put blinders on your spiritual eyesight quickly. It will cause to you to see things through the eyes of guilt, shame and condemnation. It will ruin your faith, and cause you to go blind spiritually.

Relationship stress

We live in a busy, fast-paced world where balancing work and life can be difficult. Each person has their own "stress triggers" and a satisfactory approach to problem solving may be completely different from that of their partner/spouse.
When you’re in a relationship with someone, or even when you’re still in the “dating” stages, there will be times when it will cause stress. Maybe there’s a misunderstanding, maybe there’s actual conflict, or maybe nothing was said, but he or she simply isn’t behaving the way you want him/her to. In other words, you feel stress about the relationship. Then, the question becomes, how much stress is a normal part of dating/relationships.

  • Bring awareness to any unresolved feelings of fear.
  • Establish clear communication
  • Prioritize your relationships
  • View your relationships from a different perspective.

Dose spirituality relief stress?

Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves. It typically involves a search for meaning in life. While there are many paths people use to find God, research shows that those who have made the journey find greater relief from stress and enjoy better health and happier lives.

Prayer can help you feel more connected with God, leaving you with a calmer, safer, more grounded feeling that can act as a buffer against stress. It can also bring benefits similar to the benefits of meditation, including lower blood pressure, increased immunity, and more.  Just as there are many different faiths, there are different ways to experience religion within a faith. Some people express their spirituality or in a more personal way, dedicating their lives to God  to becoming a good person. There’s a lot of value in the phrase, ‘When God closes a door, and He opens a window.’ Those who have a greater trust in God, those who are more spiritual have the benefit of seeing stressful situations as tests of strength, or even as valuable lessons from God. This can be a good distinction, as viewing a stressful event as a challenge can make the event itself feel less threatening.

Why is good to take a break from life

We all need to take a break sometimes. Many people leave their vacation time unused. Whether you take a vacation, or a play-action, it's important to take a break from the job, from people around you from the routine, and the demands of life. When we take a break, we're not taking time from responsibility; we're taking care of ourselves so we'll have the stamina to be our best in order to keep stress levels in check. Take time to think about your life, where are you in life in this point and where are you going in the future. A break is often the gentler way to begin the new process with yourself. What people fail to realize is that when you’re taking a break, it don’t mean exactly a break from responsibilities, its only means that your are giving yourself more opportunity to have your own space for a while. To think for yourself, to be quiet with yourself, to reflect on things, to gain a sense of independence again.www.valerymolone.com

Boundaries improve relationship

Maintaining Balance
For one thing, when we don’t set boundaries on what we will say yes and no to, we tend to take on more responsibilities than we’re comfortable with, just to please others. This can add stress.  Setting healthy boundaries helps us to maintain the right balance in our schedules and in our lives.

Setting Boundaries Actually Brings Closeness
Healthy boundaries allow us to have closer relationships that respect the needs of all involved. Most of us have some people in our lives that require a different type of response, and indeed need to be kept at an arm’s length because they do not respect the boundaries we set, but the majority of people can be allowed to get close to us without stepping on our toes.
